Accept payments without code

Send a payment link for one sale, or set up a permanent payment page with a printable QR.

Both work from the dashboard at pay.kasera.id without a website. A payment link carries a fixed amount for one buyer. The payment page is one fixed address where buyers enter the amount themselves, as often as you like.

Payment links and pages at a glance

Payment linkOne link, one payment, amount locked. The address looks like pay.kasera.id/p/…
Where to create a linkWeb dashboard: Transactions → Create payment request (also on Home), and the Kasera Pay Android app
Link validity60 minutes from creation, then Expired
Payment pageOne permanent address, pay.kasera.id/pp/your-name, reusable by every buyer
Printed QRPNG or A6 PDF, plus an A5 counter display in 10 theme colors
Paid notificationsEmail to the owner, browser notification, Android app push. Live payments only
Testing (Sandbox)Sandbox mode on the web dashboard uses test data, with no real money

How to create a link or payment page

  1. Payment link: on Home or Transactions click Create payment request (in the Android app, the + button in the middle of the bottom bar). Enter the Amount, pick the Payment method, add a Description if you like, then Create request.
  2. The request detail opens. Show the QR on your screen to a buyer in front of you, or use Share link / Copy link and send it in a chat. A countdown shows how long it stays valid.
  3. Payment page: open Account → Payment page, switch on Page active, choose the Page link, set the amounts (table below) and Save. Only the owner can change these settings.
  4. Print the QR from the same screen. Use Link & QR for a plain PNG or A6 PDF, or Printed display for the A5 counter sheet. The buttons unlock once the page is active and saved.
  5. The buyer pays. The payment appears in Transactions, its status turns to Paid, and you get the notifications you switched on.

Setting the amount on your payment page

The buyer opens the page, enters or picks an amount, types their name and an optional note, then continues to payment. They pay with the methods you switched on in Account → Payment methods. If you never set that up, they pay by QRIS.

What you fill inWhat the buyer sees
Minimum amount only (default Rp1,000)Any amount at or above the minimum. Each method still has its own minimum: QRIS Rp1,000, Virtual Account Rp10,000.
Preset amounts, e.g. 10000, 25000 (up to 8)Only those buttons
Preset amounts + Allow custom amount alongside presetsThe buttons as quick picks, plus a box for another amount above the minimum
Fixed amount above 0That one amount to confirm. Presets and minimum are ignored

The page link uses lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, 3–40 characters. Your account's amount limits still apply on top of these settings.

How you know it is paid

Every payment is a row in Transactions, whichever way it was made. The Source column says Dashboard or Payment page, and the detail shows the buyer's name and note under Payer and Description. By default the list shows Paid and Waiting. Show all statuses brings back Expired, Canceled and Failed.

ChannelWho gets itWhere to switch it
EmailThe owner. On by defaultAccount → Notifications → Email me when I receive a payment
Browser notificationOwner and team, on each browser where it is switched onAccount → Notifications → Notify me on this device
Android app pushThe phone you are signed in onIn the app: Account → Notifications → Push to this device (on after sign-in)

Switching the owner's email off also stops the pushes for that business. A push is sent once and never retried. The email and the Transactions page are the lasting record.

Test it first in Sandbox

The owner and the Developer role see a Mode switch, Live | Sandbox, in the web dashboard sidebar and on the Account page. In Sandbox a banner stays on screen, every new request is a test transaction marked Test, and its detail has a Simulate payment button that marks it paid. Test payments send no email or push and are never paid out. The switch is remembered per browser. Press Back to live on the banner to leave it.

Common questions

Does the payment page or printed QR follow Sandbox mode?
No. A buyer paying through your payment page always makes a live payment with real money, whatever mode your dashboard is in. To try the flow without money, create a payment request in Sandbox instead.
Can I use Sandbox in the Android app?
No. The app always works in live mode. Sandbox is only on the web dashboard.
Can I set up the payment page from the app?
Not yet. The app creates and shares payment requests. The payment page, its QR and the printed display are set up on the web dashboard.
What if the buyer opens my link too late?
After 60 minutes the request is Expired and cannot be paid. Create a new one when the buyer is ready. A request that is still Waiting can be withdrawn with Cancel request.
Is the QR on my printed display a static QRIS?
No. It is a QR of your payment page link. Scanning it opens the page, and a fresh payment is created for each buyer, so every payment is recorded on its own. The trade-offs against a static QRIS are in the guide accepting QRIS without a website.
Why does my payment page say it is unavailable?
Check that Page active is on and saved. A page also closes while the account is suspended or its verification was rejected. Still stuck? Email halo@kasera.id.
Can my own system create payments?
Yes, through the API. Your developer starts at the API docs and tests with test mode.
