Transaction and payout fees
What each successful payment and payout costs, and who pays the fee.
A fee is charged only on a payment that succeeds, and it comes out of that payment, so there is no separate bill. The rate your account actually pays is shown on the Payment request form before you create it, and on every transaction's detail.
Fees per method
| QRIS | 0.7% + Rp250 per successful payment. The 0.7% QRIS MDR is passed through as is, plus the Rp250 Kasera fee |
|---|---|
| Virtual Account (8 banks) | Rp5,000 flat per successful payment |
| E-wallet, paylater, Alfamart/Indomaret | Not available yet, so no fee |
| Payout fee | Rp3,000 per payout, deducted once from the amount sent to your bank |
| PPN (VAT) | Not added on top, because the figures above are the whole deduction |
| Refunds | The fee is not returned. You transfer the refund yourself, outside Kasera, so nothing is deducted from your payouts |
| Monthly fee | None today for accepting payments by payment link or API |
As of 15 September 2026.
How the fee is calculated
- When you create a payment request, the rate for its payment method is read and saved on that transaction. A later rate change never alters a transaction that already exists.
- The buyer pays. The fee is the percentage of the amount, rounded up to the next whole rupiah, plus the flat part.
- What you receive is the amount the buyer paid minus the fee. The buyer's total always equals the fee plus what you receive.
- At payout, your cleared balance is added up, the payout fee comes off once, and the rest is sent to your bank.

A payout of a Rp1,000,000 cleared balance sends Rp997,000 to your bank, that is Rp1,000,000 minus the Rp3,000 payout fee. The fee is per payout, not per payment, so ten payments paid out together pay it once.
Who bears the fee
By default, you pay the fee. The amount you type is what the buyer pays, and the fee comes off what you receive.
With Terima utuh, the buyer pays it. Tick Terima utuh (receive full amount) on the Payment request form, for any method. The amount you type then becomes what you receive, and the buyer sees the larger total before paying. A Rp100,000 requestbecomes Rp100,957 for the buyer on QRIS and Rp105,000 on Virtual Account. The buyer's total is what the amount limits are checked against.
Fees on refunds
A refund, full or partial, returns the buyer's money but not the fee. You transfer it yourself from your own bank account, outside Kasera, so nothing is deducted from your balance or payouts. For example, a Rp100,000 QRIS payment paid you Rp99,050. Refunded in full, you send the buyer Rp100,000, so the refund costs you the Rp950 fee.
